Sample Sonar Project

Updated: 2022-01-19

An application developed at Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) used to identify the location in the STARLiMS application that the specified sample can be located.  Additional functionality includes identifying possible issues that might be associated with the sample, view latest report functionality, and Audit Log report.  The concept of this project is quite simple, to allow the user to enter the sample ID and provide a graphical interface showing where in the lifecycle in the STARLiMs application the sample is currently located.  This is application does not require any table modifications or additions to the STARLiMS application and should be compatible with XFDRuntime versions of 10.7 and later.  Modifications to the provided Audit Log report (Crystal Reports) will be required to utilize the Audit Log feature.

STARLiMS Desktop Application Launcher Project

Updated: 2022-01-20

Basic setup as the Desktop application for clients, but we add a twist by running the application off of a file share so there is minimal change required to the client computer.  This also provides one interface to launch various instances of the the STARLiMS application.  The idea here is instead of placing the runtime folders on the client computer, we will put them on a shared drive, then create a shortcut on the client computer to a bat file on the shared drive that will launch the instance of STARLiMS selected.
