Celestron StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ

SOLD

$480

Additional Images: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

This unit is in near new condition.  This is a great beginner telescope reasonably priced and with your smart phone added to the system you have a push-to system where directional arrows on the telephone application show you where to point your telescope.  This makes locating objects much easier than other methods like star-hopping.  The learning curve on this telescope is probably the best of all beginner telescopes.  I highly recommend this scope for someone who wants to experiment with astronomy, but not ready to shell out thousands for a higher end telescope.

Homebrew3 Celestron Mount Accessory

$120

Best thing for Celestron Telescopes since Sliced Bread.  This Provides GPS, WiFI and Joystick functionality to most Celestron Mounts.

This unit can be used in place of the following accessories from Celestron:

The addition of the joystick (ie Nunchuck Controller) allows you to move the telescope utilizing Numchuck.

Utilizing the GPS ensures you will always have the correct location and time when you initialize your mount.

The WiFi allows you to control your mount from your phone/ipad device utilizing SkySafari or Sky Portal.

This is a great addition to most Celestron Mounts
