Optical Train Analysis

Presented here is analysis of various optical train configurations utilizing CCD Inspector 2 by CCDWare.

 

When performing optical analysis utilizing CCD Inspector, It is best to target multiple targets (3-4) with a high number of stars in the filed to ensure a high degree of the field is analyzed.  Also I have discovered that a low aspect ratio for the stars is desirable since this corresponds to better tracking and focus, providing a better representation of optimal conditions for the optical train.
