- Driving Instructions
- From Phoenix, travel west on Interstate 10 to Hovatter Road (Exit 53).
- At the end of the off-ramp, turn right onto North Hovatter Road.
- Follow the gravel road to the fork.
- At the fork, bear right onto Harquahala Road.
- Continue for approximately one mile until you see a mining operation on the right side of the road.
- Turn off the road to the right and loop back (“buttonhook”) to reach the observing field.
- Beginning Friday afternoon, watch for event signs starting at the end of the Hovatter Rd off-ramp. Directional arrows on the signs will guide you to the site.
