Description: One of the best hikes in the area this hike probably gives the best bang for the least effort. Trailhead parking is at Molas Pass, on the side of the 550 freeway. After crossing the 550 the trail skirts around a pond with great views of the mountains all around. Views continue to deliver this whole hike. Since this is part of the Colorado Trail (Segment 25 is 20.5 miles), just keep hiking until you are ready to head back. Grade is very reasonable on this hike.
